Inside Track: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains how Pelion Strategies ("we," "us") collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with the Inside Track program and this website. We're based in British Columbia, Canada, and handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact and enrollment details: name, company, job title, work email, an optional LinkedIn profile link, and billing details you provide when you enroll, book a call or submit our contact form
- Contact form messages: the topic you select and anything you write in the message box
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor. We don't see or store your full card details
- Program information: your self-assessment responses, Professional Development Plan, deliverables, and notes from your sessions
- Scheduling information: session times and related messages
- Website information: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected through our website host
We ask you not to share confidential information about your employer, its customers or its deals. The program is designed to work with anonymized situations.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver the program, schedule sessions, give feedback, issue receipts and certificates, respond to your questions, and improve the program. By enrolling or sharing information with us, you consent to its collection, use and disclosure as described in this policy.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share your program information with your employer without your permission.
Emails
We send program emails, such as scheduling confirmations, receipts and certificates, as part of delivering the program, and we reply by email to requests sent through our contact form. We only send marketing emails, such as news about future programs, if you've agreed to receive them, for example by ticking the optional box on our contact form, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email identifies us, includes our contact information and mailing address, and has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 10 business days.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the program, such as payment processing, scheduling, video meetings, forms, email, record-keeping tools such as spreadsheets, online course hosting, certificate issuing, and website hosting. They process information only to provide their services to us. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Recordings and note-taking
We use transcription and note-taking tools, including AI-based tools, during live sessions to create transcripts and notes and to prepare your written feedback. By enrolling, you consent to this. These tools process information only to provide their service to us. Transcripts and notes are stored securely and aren't shared outside Pelion Strategies and these service providers without your permission. We will ask you before making a video recording of a session. Participants may not record sessions or use AI note-taking tools.
How long we keep it
We keep program records for as long as needed to deliver the program and support any reimbursement or verification request, and financial records as long as required by law. If we use your information to make a decision that directly affects you, such as issuing your certificate, we keep it for at least one year so you can access it. After that, you can ask us to delete your deliverables and session notes at any time.
If you contact us through our website but don't enroll, we keep your request and contact details until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to withdraw your consent to how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time on reasonable notice, subject to legal or contractual limits; this may mean we can't continue delivering the program. To make a request, use the contact form on this website and select "Privacy or deletion request." We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit access to what's needed to deliver the program.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
